The blue card is from the Colorbok Get Well collection. Ribbon from Wal-Mart...no idea what brand.. Brown cardstock shadow...hmmm...not sure about that either. It was from some scraps in my scrap box. The die cut is the Stampin' Up Top Note die for the Big Shot Die Cut Machine. ..not sure about the paper. This was in a goody bag at a Not Just Scrappin' Retreat. It was probably cut by Melissa Brinduse...Thank You. Perhaps she will comment on the brand of paper? "Thinking of You" cut with my Cricut Expression. It's from the George and Basic Shapes cartridge.

Have a great day everyone.

for Jamie...

This paper also comes from the Colorbok: Flavia Mint and Moonlight pack, as does the quote which reads: "Friends share footsteps in the garden of time." I used one of my Fiskars paper edger punches for the bottom of the card. ...inked the edges of the quote and sewed the background paper. The lace (which I love) is from some really REALLY old craft stuff I purchased at a yard sale years ago. The cardstock flowers are from DCWV, flora greens Posies. Good buy with 50 (different sizes) in each pack. And lastly, the adhesive gems in the centers are from EK Success' Precious Finds.

I made this card with my cousin, Jamie, in mind. She's really my best friend and I love her.

Last week she found out that her best friend/roommate from college (Leigh) was in the hospital in pretty serious condition. Her prognosis has improved a bit over the week, but she is still not out of the woods yet. Please keep Leigh, her family, and Jamie in your prayers this week.

New Scraptastic Cards...

I've had this Colorbok: Flavia- Mint and Moonlight 8x8 pack for a while. I absolutely love the colors and thought I'd make a mini album. Actually, I might still do that if I feel frisky and find the time. The rub ons are from Oriental Trading. I believe the flowers are paper primas...however, I'm not completely sure about that. I'm really bad about throwing away packaging to save space. The brad in the center of the flower is Yuletide Yellow Jingle brads. This card was a lot of fun to make. I distressed and inked the circle that says: "Love is all that matters."
